For your between-activities pleasure and convenience there is a licensed café on the premises with viewing galleries overlooking the swimming pools. The Sports Café offers breakfast, lunches, and snack meals, featuring specialities such as cod and chips, chicken tikka masala, vegetarian lasagne and quiche, chilli nachos, corn on the cob, a wide variety of burgers, and an assortment of sandwiches and jacket potatoes. A children's menu is also available. The non-smoking café is open from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.

The Centre stands on 12.5 acres of freehold land gifted to the Folkestone Sports Centre Trust in 1967 by Lord Radnor as well as half an acre donated by Gerald Glover. The completed Centre was officially opened in 1972 by HRH The Princess Anne. Over ten million people visited the Folkestone Sports Centre during its first 20 years. In 1990 the Fitness Centre opened, becoming one of the best facilities of its kind in the area.

The Folkestone Sports Centre is open all day seven days a week, providing hours of fun for the entire family.
